QOTD: July 30

Postby Sparkle on Fri Jul 30, 2010 4:49 am

I'm looking for a new compact digital camera, any suggestions?

I love my DSLR, but its big and heavy and not easy to take around everywhere. So, on the look out for a good compact camera....I'm usually attracted to Canon, Sony or Nikon, but any suggestions welcome!

I had a little Nikon Coolpix, but ended up selling it on Ebay. Wasn't happy at all with it. I still don't have a new P&S yet, but I've been looking at the Panasonic Lumix - I've heard lots of great things about them.

I have a Panasonic Luminix and I love it. It takes wonderful pictures, sometimes I think it takes better pictures tham my Nikon D70. Its not the smallest point & shoot since it has such a nice zoom, but it's small enough to just throw in your purse.

I recently bought my Canon Powershot. I very lightweight camera with a lot of options. It has 10 megapixels and makes wonderful pics.. I paid about € 60 for it, but that was a special offer.

I got my Lumix a couple years ago. I have the TZ5 and I love it. The TZ8 is the newest updated version. The TZ5 takes great photos and movies so I know the TZ8 is even better. I give it 2 thumbs up

I have a Canon SX200IS. It is truely the best camera I have ever bought and the next best thing to a SLR. It's compact, it has 12.1MP and 12x optical zoom. The new one (SX210 IS) has 14x optical zoom!

WOW! How fun to be able to 'try' them! Do you get to keep too, or do you have to return them? I love it when they let you keep the freebies

I got a despatch notice yesterday! Can't wait to get it and try it out :D
