QuickTipz: Connecting die cut letters

Postby Shar on Sat Dec 19, 2009 9:16 pm

If you're using a scripty or handwriting type of alphabet and you're unsure of how letters should be connected, the best way is to open a word document and type the word(s) you want in the computer font version of the alphabet. This will give you exact letter placement and you'll be able to see what your title should look like when the letters are all connected.

Many of the QuicKutz alphabet computer font matches are free downloads on the internet. Check this website for a list of matching computer fonts to QK alphas. (*She has been out of the country for some time now and the site hasn't been updated in a while, but most of the earlier fonts matches are all there with links to download them.)

WOW! Thanks for this Shar!! I've always just done it on my own- but I just saved the link and will definitely use it as a resource. I never knew that someone would've even thought to create such a great table resource! Thanks again!!

Thanks for the tip. I didn't know about this site. I'll add it to my favorites.
