New Laptop...

I just received a new laptop for Christmas and would like to dedicate it for just my scrapbook "stuff"....will it be possible to install the software for the Silhouette on this new laptop as well as keep it on my desktop????...

I don't see why not. I have my Sil software only on my laptop though, not my desktop.

I too got a "scrapbooking" laptop for Xmas and was wondering the same thing. On that note as well, will the SIL software work w/ Win 7?

Liz...my Husband has installed windows 7 on mine and it does work as long as the computer is 32 bits...if 64 bits you need to download a extra thing from sil website. I did have problems initially with installing the library and had a folder error come up as well(which happened on vista as well!) but that was pretty easy to fix, so if have either of these let me know and I can tell u what to do....the sil website says it should work but in some cases it may not, there is a new program comming soon to match windows 7......BTW there is also a way around not having to download all your images again as well...let me know if you want the instructions
